The teaching session initiates with warm greetings and a brief prayer, fostering a positive atmosphere. To instill a sense of responsibility, I encourage students to tidy up their surroundings by collecting any litter and disposing of it properly. Subsequently, I introduce the class rules encapsulated in the acronym "HAPPY" — Honor your learning process, Attention is key, Participation is a must, and Your best effort. This mnemonic aids in establishing a positive and engaging learning environment. Following the rule presentation, I gauge the students' enthusiasm for learning and seamlessly transition into the "Human Knot" activity, serving as an energizer. Post-activity, I facilitate a reflective discussion, probing into their problem-solving strategies and communication during the task. The engaging atmosphere is further enhanced as I introduce a jumble word game, sparking curiosity about the day's topic

To delve deeper into the lesson, I elucidate the disparities between spatial changes and interspatial interaction, supplementing theoretical knowledge with real-life examples. The lesson crescendos with the interactive "Pick Me and Explain Me" activity. Using a color wheel to randomly select participants, students analyze pictures to discern whether they depict spatial changes or interspatial interaction. This hands-on approach reinforces theoretical concepts. As the activities unfold, I continuously assess the students' comprehension, encouraging them to articulate their understanding. A seamless transition leads to the introduction of the concept of cultural exchange. Definition and real-world examples are provided, offering students a holistic understanding. The pinnacle of the lesson is the "Cultural Exchange Adventure Quest" activity, where students select two countries and investigate cultural exchanges between them. This group activity promotes collaboration and expands cultural awareness. The teaching session concludes with a reflective moment, prompting students to jot down the key insights gained during the class. This process aids in solidifying their understanding and serves as a bridge to subsequent lessons.

1.2 Time Management and Organizing Activities

Effective time management is pivotal in ensuring a productive teaching session. I meticulously plan and schedule each activity, considering the complexity and the time it requires. The strategic integration of timers within the PowerPoint presentation acts as a visual guide for students, fostering a sense of urgency while working on activities. Frequent reminders about time constraints further empower students to manage their time efficiently. In terms of organizing activities, the meticulous alignment of learning objectives with corresponding activities ensures a logical progression of the lesson. Graphic organizers serve as visual aids, facilitating a deeper understanding of concepts. Clear instructions, coupled with pre-activity question sessions, provide students with clarity and confidence before embarking on each task.

1.3 Classroom Management

The implementation of the "HAPPY" rules lays the foundation for effective classroom management. Beyond being rules, they are principles that underscore the importance of valuing the learning process, maintaining attention, active participation, and giving one's best effort. The emphasis on quietness at appropriate times underscores the need for a focused and respectful learning environment. Additionally, the encouragement of respectful communication among students fosters a positive and inclusive classroom culture

1.4 Problem-Solving While Teaching and Staying in the Designated School

The predominant challenge faced in the school environment is the substantial language barrier. Given that my cooperating teachers are not proficient in English, effective communication poses a hurdle. To mitigate this, I resort to Google Translate, a versatile tool that aids in bridging linguistic gaps. This not only facilitates communication but also fosters a collaborative atmosphere where both teachers and students can contribute effectively. Adapting to the linguistic diversity, I take proactive measures by translating teaching materials into Indonesian. This ensures that language does not impede the comprehension of the subject matter. In the PowerPoint presentations, the juxtaposition of English and Indonesian versions offers accessibility and inclusivity. Apart from language barriers, the teaching environment remains conducive and cooperative, with the implemented strategies effectively addressing the challenges posed by linguistic diversity.
